REACH is a partnership between Powderhorn Neighborhood Association and more than a dozen community stakeholders. REACH was launched in response to George Floyd’s murder in Minneapolis as a broad marketing campaign related to the healing, recovery, and renewal of the communities historically and subsequently impacted by racialized systemic inequities.
Black Fish Gold Studios was asked to create a brand for REACH and define the visual direction of their campaign. We relied on our authentic community connections and personal knowledge to create a brand and visuals that paid homage to the catalyzing nature of Mr. Floyd’s death, the cities that hold us, and the people who uprise to uplift.
